Impact Statements
My granddaughter has been in my custody for 3yrs now. We went through another mentoring program previously & didn't have many complaints, but it seemed more like a babysitting service than mentoring. Someone recommended S.W.A.G., so we decided to "try" it, although my granddaughter was hesitant & wanted to stay in her comfort zone with our previous program. We are sooooooooooooo grateful we made this decision. Rebecca has blossomed & flourished in S.W.A.G. Watching her confidence grow has been beautiful. S.W.A.G. gives her opportunities to try things she never would try on her own. The group encourages each other & works as a team, which is much needed in this world today. Phyllis runs an incredible mentoring program that teaches young ladies leadership, teamwork, confidence & teaches them to advocate for themselves & others. All of the volunteers are incredible role models! I cannot praise this program enough & wish there was a program similar for male teens also!
Sherry
As a mother, it is comforting to watch my child blossom and develop. I believe ECLN/SWAG has been a major factor in her personal improvement. I am thankful for their time and attention given towards the young ladies.
Michelle
I can't compliment ECLN enough for what they have done for my daughter and her fellow students in the group. I highly recommend the program to anyone that has a daughter who is looking for new opportunities with community involvement and fun interactive activities that will prepare them for early adulthood.
Garret
Bless you and Phyllis for the work you do with ECLN. Targeting leadership skills/opportunities for middle school young women is such a crucial demographic destined to have a lasting impact.
